BetMGM to Open Arizona Cardinals Retail Sportsbook on Sunday
BetMGM is launching its retail sportsbook with the Arizona Cardinals at the State Farm Stadium, the NFL franchise’s home stadium. The 17,000 sq ft sportsbook spreads across two stories and features a number of amenities and facilities, along with all the necessary paraphernalia for having a blast while placing a sports bet.
Bringing Retail Sports Betting Experience
The 265-square-foot video wall and 38 live viewing screens are all part of the experience, and State Farm Stadium offers indoor and outdoor dining options as part of the experience.
This is a first-of-its-kind partnership for a National Football League franchise. The launch was welcomed by BetMGM CEO Adam Greenblatt who said that the new retail sportsbook will have the opportunity to provide sports audiences with precisely the type of experience that they have come to expect. Greenblatt added:
The BetMGM Sportsbook at State Farm Stadium is one of the most revolutionary additions an NFL stadium has seen in decades and unlike anything, fans have encountered on gamedays. BetMGM shares the Arizona Cardinals’ vision in pursuing new ways to break barriers and entertain fans.

The sportsbook will be running on event and non-event days, and it will also be integrated with the general operations at State Farm Stadium, which include an amphitheater and concerts. The partnership was naturally welcomed by the Arizona Cardinals owner, Michael Bidwill, who also welcomed the opportunity to play host to the BetMGM Sportsbook, a milestone for the team.
A Welcome Retail Betting Opportunity in Arizona
He spoke highly of the partnership, arguing that the Cardinals were excited to be pioneering an innovative sports betting and amenity experience that is first of its kind in the NFL. Bidwill added:
The BetMGM Sportsbook at State Farm Stadium gives us a chance to engage current and potential fans on a year-round basis in a fun, entertaining, and responsible way.

The sportsbook is opening on Sunday at 9 am, ahead of the Cardinals’ opening game into the new season against the Kansas City Chiefs. The game is set to have a strong turnout. Interestingly, BetMGM is also an official sportsbook partner to the Chiefs, with the betting company having a strong presence all across the board.
