BetMGM Prepares for South Dakota Entry, Inks Strategic Partnership

Leading sports betting and iGaming operator BetMGM announced on Thursday that it inked an exclusive partnership with Liv Hospitality’s Tin Lizzie Gaming Resort and Cadillac Jack’s Gaming Resort in South Dakota. Under the agreement, the operator will bring mobile and retail sports betting to the city of Deadwood.

In November of last year, voters approved the legalization of sports betting by voting for the Deadwood Sports Betting Legalization Amendment. This effectively authorized South Dakota to offer the activity within the city.

Now, following the recent deal between the two operators and BetMGM, regulatory approval is pending. With that in mind, the launch of BetMGM’s mobile app is expected next month. Once launched, sports fans and bettors will be able to access the app via both Tin Lizzie Gaming Resort and Cadillac Jack’s Gaming Resort. Besides mobile wagering, BetMGM will also establish a retail sportsbook, featuring kiosks and counter wagering.

Although BetMGM continues to expand its services by entering new states, the company remains committed to responsible gaming education. Additionally, BetMGM is proud of dedicating resources to help consumers gamble responsibly.

Liv Hospitality’s CEO, Caleb Arceneaux, shared his excitement by saying that BetMGM is an outstanding organization. Furthermore, he acknowledged that visitors now have another reason to come to Deadwood while at the same time they can enjoy the vast entertainment opportunities that the company’s resort offers.
