Sports betting and iGaming brand of Entain and MGM Resorts International BetMGM announced today its online gaming presence in Pennsylvania expanded due to the launch of the Borgata Casino app.
Borgata Casino joins BetMGM Casino
The Borgata Casino app launched in the Keystone State via the market access partnership deal with Rivers Casino Philadelphia, to join BetMGM Casino, the first iGaming app BetMGM launched in December 2020.
The first casino built in Philadelphia, SugarHouse Casino, was rebranded in June 2019 by its parent company, Illinois-based Rush Street Interactive (RSI), as Rivers Casino Philadelphia looking for the unification of its properties. The casino moved under the Rivers umbrella which also includes casinos in Des Plains, Schenectady, and Pittsburg.
Adam Greenblatt, chief executive officer at BetMGM, outlined the popularity the Borgata brand brings with it, proved by the success the Borgata Casino app is enjoying so far in New Jersey.
