BallyBet.ca will be the new entry into the Ontario iGaming market with Bally’s sports betting and iGaming platform obtaining an entry into the coveted market. The Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario (AGCO) issued the license on June 30 and the permit will run through June 29, 2024, when it will expire and be due for renewal should the operator seeks this measure.
The BallyBet.ca license includes four distinct domain and brand names, which is a precautionary measure to ensure that a rogue operator would not try to mislead consumers offshore. The company has registered BallyBet.ca, BallyCasino.ca, BallysCasinos.ca, and Ballysbet.ca.
The license also extends to the BallyBet mobile app which is a powerful one-stop-shop for all iGaming and sports wagering needs consumers may have under the Bally’s brand. AGCO has been working hard to ensure that all suitable applicants have been granted a license in the province which opened for private gambling in April.
Since then, dozens of well-respected companies have entered the market, including the likes of Bet365, theScore, PointsBet, and others. The Ontario gaming market continues to be developing with the initial after-launch frenzy still not having subsided.
