Australian Turf Club and TAB Extend Existing Deal

The Australian Turf Club (ATC), the leading operator offering thoroughbred racing and hospitality services, announced it extended its collaboration with TAB

TAB and ATC Extend Partnership

The new partnership extension was announced Monday and will see the duo collaborate for three more years. Under the terms of the new extension deal, TAB will remain the official wagering partner of the ATC for the next three years. The terms of the new collaboration will see the company become the naming rights sponsor of the Everest Race Day, Australia’s richest race day. Additionally, the new deal will see the Everest Race Day change its name to TAB Everest Race Day. Besides offering unique experiences for horse race fans, TAB’s collaboration with the ATC marks one of the longest sports partnerships in Australia.

TAB and the Australian Turf Club share a long and successful partnership and we are delighted to extend this agreement around our world-class racing.

Jamie Barkley, ATC’s CEO, revealed that the Club has enjoyed a successful collaboration with TAB so far. He pointed out that now, the ATC is excited to further extend its collaboration with the company and build on the strong foundation. Barkley reaffirmed that offering unique experiences for ATC’s customers remains a key priority. According to ATC’s CEO, Australia’s richest event on turf has a global audience and provides unique entertainment for fans around the world. In conclusion, Barkley said that the ATC is looking forward to the new edition of the event TAB Everest.

The Deal Brings Excitement for TAB

Adam Rytenskild, Tabcorp’s Chief Executive Officer, added that becoming a naming rights partner of TAB Everest Race Day marks an exciting moment for the company. At the same time, he acknowledged that the collaboration extends TAB’s agreement with the ATC. Rytenskild outlined that TAB Everest is without question one of the biggest race days on turf globally. He added: “we’re looking forward to combining the TAB brand, Sky Thoroughbred Central coverage and Sky Sports Radio platforms to grow the event even further.”

Speaking about the extended collaboration with the ATC, Tabcorp’s CEO pointed out that the new deal extends the collaboration with the Club to nearly two decades.
