Aristocrat Posts Solid Half-Year Results, 60% Revenue in US

Aristocrat continues to generate solid financial results, the company’s recent filing to the Australian Securities Exchange showed. Net profit hit $422.3 for the half-year finishing on March 31.
Aristocrat Posts Solid Financial Results for Financial Half-Year
Aristocrat posted a decent net profit for the financial half ended on March 31. The Australia-based slot machine-maker and online games developer posted $422.3 million in net profit*, citing a 16.8-percent increase year-over-year.
On Thursday, May 16 the official filing to the Australian Securities Exchange (ASE) revealed that the operator had manged to notch 30-percent revenue increase over the past half-year, citing $2.11 billion. Earnings before EBITDA jumped by 19.2 percent Aristocrat noted in its statement to the Commission, citing $766.3 million as the end figure.
Aristocrat has recently revved up its presence in North Americaand the company has already started to see financial windfall from its efforts in the region. Now, the company is eyeing opportunities to scale its business model in both New Zealand and its native Australia.
The company’s executive and managing director Trevor Croker commented on Aristocrat’s current financial performance, cited by GGRAsia:
Aristocrat continues to deliver above market profitable growth, leading to strong free cash flow and the ability to reinvest to self-fund future growth, whilst ensuring strong foundations remain in place.
Aristocrat’s expanding investment portfolio was a signal that the company is committed to driving growth, Croker elaborated. According to Croker, the US will continue to be the main driver of results for the company:
We’ve got 60 per cent of our revenues coming from the US now and it just reflects that piece.
Attending G2E Asia, Aristocrat has said that the company is also focused on consolidating its position in Asia.
Aristocrat Outlook Moving Forward
The company hasn’t announced specific goals for the FY 2019, but overall, the slot-maker will be focusing on boosting growth across all verticals. Aristocrat is optimistic about its digital bookings performance occasioned by new game releases.
Owing to the high revenue coming from North America, Aristocrat is restructuring itself in order to slash both cash tax and accounting tax-related expenses.
