Seminole Gaming announced Andrew Saunders was appointed as the company’s new Vice President of Entertainment to spearhead live entertainment efforts for the tribe’s venues across Florida.
Wealth of Live Entertainment Business Experience
New Vice President of Entertainment Saunders will be responsible for the overall entertainment strategy for the tribal gaming venues in the state, from ticketing operations, finance, and production partners to collaboration between the venues.

Andrew Saunders brings to the tribal gaming company a wealth of knowledge and experience, having spent more than 10 years in the booking entertainment events business, managing relationships with talents, agencies, and production companies, also dealing with the marketing and ticketing sides of events.

Andrew Saunders, who also served as Director of Booking for a group of more than 70 arenas and theaters in North America, the Los Angeles’ Venue Coalition, had his most recent role in booking as a senior talent buyer for AEG at Staples Center, Microsoft Theater, where he collaborated with the Presents division of the venue.

Close Collaboration with Venue Entertainment Leads
Holder of bachelor’s degree in Music Industry and Business from the University of Southern California in Los Angeles, Saunders will work in his role closely with Dave Gold, Vice President of Entertainment Operations and Live Events, Steve Minick, Director of Entertainment at Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Tampa, as well as other venues’ entertainment leads.
Entertainment venues run by Seminole Gaming include Hard Rock Live, a 7500-seater at Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Hollywood, Hard Rock Event Center at Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Tampa with 1,500 capacity, Seminole Center, an 836-seater at Seminole Casino Hotel Immokalee, as well as properties at Casino Coconut Creek, Seminole Brighton Casino and Seminole Classic Casino in Hollywood, Florida.
The Seminole tribe is the major player on the gaming market in Florida and any gaming expansion in the state cannot happen without being sanctioned by the tribe, including a recent initiative for a casino in the region of the city of Jacksonville.
