The Association of Gaming Equipment Manufacturers (AGEM), a Las Vegas-based non-profit international trade association representing manufacturers and suppliers of electronic gaming equipment and content, announced a handful of new additions to its team.

Parente Named President of the AGEM

As outlined by the AGEM, Robert Parente will be joining the association as its new president. Parente, better known as executive vice president and chief business development officer for Light & Wonder, will serve a two-year term at the head of the AGEM.

The new appointee will step into the office on February 1, succeeding David Lucchese. The latter is the executive vice president of sales, market & digital at Everi. During his term, the former president helped the company deal with the various headwinds throughout the past two years.

The Association Adds Four VPs, a Treasurer and a Secretary

In addition to Parente, six new people have been designated as officers in various positions at the AGEM. Each of them will serve a one-year term, the association announced. Its new members include the following:

Elaine Hodgson. She is currently the president and chief executive officer of Incredible Technologies, a digital entertainment products designer and developer. Now, she will be joining the AGEM as a vice president.

Luke Orchard. A specialist in compliance, Orchard is the chief compliance and risk management officer at International Game Technology, a global leader in gaming. He will also be designated as VP at the AGEM.

David Lucchese. The former president of the AGEM will continue working for the association as a VP.
