Online sportsbooks think the winner of this semifinal duel is likely to get ahold of the title. No surprise there as these two are in the Top 10 in the 2022 Official World Golf. Actually, since recently, Scheffler is sitting at the very summit of the table.

Getting to the top has certainly given this guy a massive confidence boost. If he’s the world no.1, he surely needs to be thought of as the favorite to win on Sunday morning, right? Well, DraftKings oddsmakers disagree. Instead, they think DJ will be the one to get to the final.

One of the main reasons for this is that Johnson already has a WGC-Dell Technologies Match Play trophy in his cupboard, suggesting that he loves playing on this course. Still, one mustn’t forget that Scheffler was very close to winning the 2021 event. In fact, he reached the final 12 months ago, losing only to Billy Horschel.

Kevin Kisner vs Corey Conners

Kisner loves playing at Austin Country Club. Evidence of this is that he reached the final of the tournament in 2018. A year later, he won the title. Still, it’s been three years since that win and the 38-year-old might not be as good as before. Is this something his semifinal opponent can take advantage of?
